GRRO Projects

DOMTAR Pulp & Paper Facility

GRRO, teaming with SOS Technologies/Environ Manufacturing, has been contracted to build two Thermal Cyclonic Sludge Drying Systems for the DOMTAR Pulp and Paper Facility in Port Edwards, WI.

The two systems, the D55NG and the D35NG are designed to process 10 and 5 wet tons per hour, respectively. The systems will utilized GRRO patented thermal dryers and the patented Tempest Cyclonic Drying system to take the paper sludge waste stream of 250 wet tons per day, drying the sludge to approximately 80% solids and then feeding a pelletizing/cubing system to produce paper pellets to be utilized in waste heat boilers as a "green" fuel.

Expected date of completion: December 2004
