and expanded as needed

operating noise
• Air emissions control by Farr Filters to three
microns or better
• All new electronic controls by Van Meter Industrial
with capabilities to run multiple units with one control panel or

Founded in 1999, GRRO is an Iowa based environmental solutions
company that develops and markets cyclonic air drying
technologies. The patented cyclonic dryers provide cost effective
solutions for waste disposal. The GRRO Tempest Drying System
proprietary technology is unique because the only energy required to
operate the system is for the blowers and conveying equipment.
There are no boilers, furnaces, or steam generators required. The
technology behind the Tempest Dryers is large volumes of air moving at
incredible speeds to pulverize and separate the liquids from the
solids. Best of all, the new systems containers offer ease of
installation. The units can be brought on site and can start
drying almost immediately. “We are very proud of the Johnson Gas
Appliance Company’s manufacturing team and the other Iowa companies
they have brought in to manufacture the Tempest. These are long
standing and first rate companies in the manufacturing industry with 80
to 109 years experience,” noted GRRO Chairman, Loran Balvanz, who went
on to state, “The biomass to fuel expansion is upon us with many large
utility industries looking for fuel and to lower their carbon
footprint. We have a very innovative and cost efficient answer.”
Current applications include:
Pulp and Paper Sludge
Corn Stalks
All Animal Manures, Swine, Chicken, Cattle, Turkey
